ISLAMABAD, June 3 (APP): The government on Friday allocated Rs 2526.658 million in the Public Sector Development Programme (PSDP 2016-17) for six ongoing and four new schemes of the Defence Division.
According to the PSDP, an amount of Rs 35.779 million has been earmarked for the installation of security equipments at the Pak Secretariat-II, Rawalpindi.
Under the programme, Rs 29.625 million would be spent on the construction of administration and accommocation blocks and to provide allied facilities at the PMSA Base Keti Bandar (Thatta), Sindh.
In another smiliar project, Rs 35.593 million have been allocated for the construction of administration and accomodation blocks and provision of allied facilities at the PMSA Base Ormara (Jinnah Naval Base) Balochistan.
The National Electronic Complex of Pakistan (Phasee-I) NESCOM Islamabad project would be executed at a cost of Rs 1040 million.
The Defence Division would spend Rs 597 million funds in procurement and construction of 6 X Maritime Patrol Vessels (MPVs for the PMSA).
The development plan kept Rs 199.301 million for the 3rd phase of Water Distribution Network, based on the Khanpur Dam water source, for the Rawalpindi and Chaklala Cantonment Boards.
Whereas in the new schemes, an amount of Rs 125 million has been reserved for construction of the Office Complex of Survey of Pakistan in Lahore.
A fund amounting to Rs 25 million has been specified to
establish a Facility Center for 3D Printing at the NESCOM, Islamabad
The PSDP allocated Rs 70.810 million for the establishment of Geodetic Datum of Pakistan, while Rs 368.550 million would be spent in procurement of three latest printing machines for modernization of Survey of Pakistan.
