Rs 12825.199 mln allocated for Ports & Shipping Division schemes

ISLAMABAD, June 3 (APP): The government has allocated an amount of Rs 12825.199 million for various new and ongoing schemes of Ports and Shipping Division under Public Sector Development Programme (PSDP) for the year 2016-17.
According to budgertary documents released here Friday the government has allocated Rs 11225.518 million for various ongoing schemes of the division.
An amount of Rs 1599.681 million was allocated for the new schemes of the Ports and Shipping Division.
The government has allocated Rs 4700 million for the ongoing scheme of construction of Eastbay Expressway (CPEC).
Similarly, an amount of Rs 500 million was allocated for the development and construction of port Allied structures in Mullah Band Area.
The government has also allocated an amount of Rs 5332.850 million for the provision of coal conveying system from Pakistan International Bulk Terminal (PIBT) to Railway Network at Port Qasim.
The government has also allocated an amount of Rs 458 mln for the new scheme of up-gradation of existing 50 bed hospital to 300 beds at Gwadar (CPEC).
An amount of Rs 300 million was allocated for the feasibility study of construction of break waters (CPEC).
The government also allocated Rs 250 million for Infrastructure development for EPZA and GIEDA, Gwadar (CPEC).
The Government has also allocated an amount of Rs 300 million for new scheme of Capital Dredging of berthing areas and channel for additional terminal under CPEC.
