ISLAMABAD, May 20 (APP): Having already seen a marked decline in dreaded loadshedding over the last almost three years, the country is apparently on the course to eliminate this power curse in a year or two.
This vast improvement in power generation, as compared to four-five years back, is partly reflected in the success to achieve Zero Loadshedding for the industrial sector.
The efforts to reinvigorate the once-lethargic power sector are augmented by the plans to lay international transmission lines and import electricity from Central Asia as well as from Iran.
