Miftah announces to increase minimum pension to Rs 10,000

ISLAMABAD, Apr 27 (APP):Considering the difficulties being faced by low-paid pensioners, Federal Minister for Finance, Revenue and Economic Affairs Miftah Ismail on Friday announced to increase minimum pension to Rs 10,000 from the present Rs 6,000.
“Family pensioners would also get increased from Rs 4,500 to 7,500,” he said in his budget speech at the National Assembly.
He said minimum pension of pensioners above the age of 75 would be Rs 15,000.
