RAWALPINDI, Mar 19 (APP):The Rawalpindi Police during operations against outlaws across the district arrested 13 accused including a drug supplier, illegal arms owners, Tenancy Act violators and a kite seller.
According to the police spokesman, the R A Bazaar Police took action and arrested drug supplier Obaid with 1.5 kilograms of charas.
About seven suspects were held for having illegal weapons and ammunition. The Pirwadhai Police recovered a 30- bore pistol each from accused Faisal and Hamza, and 35 cartridges of a 12-bore rifle from accused Altaf.
Similarly, the Naseerabad Police held three accused Akhtar Ali, Javed and Zulfiqar with a 30-bore pistol each, while Gujar Khan Police also recovered a 30-bore pistol from accused Nasir.
Likewise, during search operations in different areas, four suspects Sajid, Nadeem, Shahzad and Mazhar were taken into custody for violation of the Tenancy Act.
Meanwhile, the Airport Police nabbed accused Isa recovering 70 kites and from strings from him.
