LAHORE, Mar 11 (APP):Federal Tax Ombudsman (FTO) Dr. Asif Mahmood Jah has appointed Samara Nazir, a Grade 22 career officer of the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) and former Federal Secretary, Board of Investment (Retd.), as Advisor with immediate effect and posted at the Regional Tax Office (RTO) Lahore.
Dr. Waqar Ch. Arain, Advisor to the FTO, informed on Tuesday that Samara Nazir brings extensive experience in customs and income tax, having risen to the position of Federal Secretary. Her appointment is expected to strengthen the FTO’s operations and enhance taxpayer facilitation at the regional level.
