PESHAWAR, Mar 04 (APP):A delegation of World Food Program (WFP) led by Chief of Supply called on Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Food, Zahir Shah Toru here Tuesday and discussed ongoing projects of food security in the province.
The delegation also discussed matters relating to reform agendas in provincial food department. Talking to delegation, provincial minister said that effective steps have been taken to ensure food security in the province and to increase capability of staff employed in the department adding that various matters have digitized in food department.
He also reaffirmed commitment to further improve cooperation with international organization to improve food security and quality.
On this occasion, delegation assured cooperation to government in its reforms agenda and efforts to ensure food security in the province.
