188 Maryam Nawaz Health Clinics construction progressing rapidly in Multan

MULTAN, Jan 17 (APP):Under the ‘Sehatmund Punjab’ initiative of the Punjab chief minister, newly-appointed Commissioner Multan Division Aamir Kareem Khan visited Maryam Nawaz Health Clinic, Basic Health Unit (BHU) in Qasim Bela to inspect the ongoing construction work.
He described the clinics as a revolutionary project by Punjab govt.
He announced that the construction of 188 Maryam Nawaz Health Clinics across the division was progressing rapidly, with all BHUs undergoing revamping and upgradation. “These clinics are equipped with modern medical facilities and advanced equipment to ensure quality healthcare for citizens. Deputy Commissioners have been tasked with closely monitoring these health centres,” the commissioner stated.
Executive Engineer(XEN) Buildings, Haider Ali, informed that out of 35 Maryam Nawaz Health Clinics planned in Multan city and its outskirts, 15 units have been completed, and 11 clinics have already been handed over to the Health Department.
Deputy Commissioner Multan, Muhammad Ali Bukhari, was also present during the visit.
