NDMA endeavoring to build the capacity of govt officials

ISLAMABAD, Mar 11 (APP): National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) is making an endeavor to build the capacity of government officials for which a new concept has been evolved. The concept envisages the capacity building of government officials through emergencies response exercise (GOERE). The aim of these situational based training was to enhance their preparedness and response capacity, coordination mechanism for smooth execution of response and media handling, said a NDMA statement.
