ISLAMABAD, May 22 (APP): FBR Chairman Nisar Muhammad Khan Sunday said that due to concerted efforts of the whole FBR team and continued encouragement by the Finance Minister, the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) was is well on course to achieve the revenue collection target of
Rs 3104 billion for the current fiscal year.
He said this in a meeting here chaired by Finance Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar. Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Revenue Division Haroon Akhtar Khan was also present on the occasion.
The meeting was informed that in line with the Finance Minister’s instructions, the FBR officials after holding meetings with different stakeholders including traders organizations, chambers of commerce and industries, professionals and experts, had formulated proposals for
the budget 2016 17.
