ISLAMABAD, Apr 30 (APP): Pakistan Muslim League-N Member of National Assembly Daniyal Aziz has said that Director of International Consortium of Investigative Journalists (ICIJ) Gerard Ryle’s refusal to appear in a private TV channel programme, clearly negated ICIJ’s stance over the Panama Papers Leaks, erroneously mentioning the name of Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif.

He reaffirmed that it was correct that ICIJ had deleted the name of Nawaz Sharif as it was a factual error which also justified the stance, taken by the government.

The ICIJ Director had refused to appear on a Pakistani news channel, seemingly as he could not defend the basic errors earlier posted at the ICIJ’s website about Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif concerning Panama Leaks.
