Pakistan dismisses US declassified documents claims

ISLAMABAD, Apr 15 (APP): Pakistan on Friday strongly
dismissed certain media allegations over the United States
Government’s declassified documents.

In response to media queries regarding allegations,
the Spokesperson of the Foreign Office said that allegations
in media on Pakistan’s involvement with Haqqani Network
(HQN) were preposterous.

“In fact, we were shocked and deeply saddened when
precious American lives were lost at the Chapman facility
in 2009 in an unfortunate attack that was later claimed
by TTP in a publicly available video, featuring the suicide
bomber with the leader of the TTP,” a press release quoted
the spokesman as saying.
