Dar assures payment of net hydel profit to KPK

ISLAMABAD, Apr 15 (APP): Finance Minister, Senator Muhammad Ishaq Dar Friday apprised the National Assembly that any decision regarding extension of Custom Act in Malakand Division would be taken in the light of Law Ministry’s recommendations.

Replying to point of order, he said that promise regarding
payment of net hydel profit to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa would be fulfilled, adding it was 20 years old issue and the present government was trying to resolve it.

He said Ministry of Water and Power was also involved in this
issue.
