KARACHI, June 11 (APP):  Sindh Finance Minister, Syed Murad Ali Shah has said that a significant allocation of Rs 13.69 billion which includes ADP of Rs 10.9 billion, has been proposed for the agriculture sector in the financial year 2012-13. He said this in his speech announcing  Sindh Budget 2012-13, in the Sindh Assembly here on Monday. He said agriculture is the backbone of our economy and we firmly believe that it may not be possible to fight poverty without addressing issues related to greater agricultural productivity.
