Opposition not ready to accept majority, people’s mandate: Gilani
app63-30pm-islamabad.jpgISLAMABAD, April 30 (APP): Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani on Monday said the opposition was not ready to accept majority and mandate of the government as well as the Prime Minister and the President. “They desire to derail democracy and become Ameer-ul-Momeneen. But, their desire cannot be fulfilled and they shall have to wait,” said the Prime Minister while speaking during the Senate proceedings reacting to the walkout observed by the PML-N Senators. He said the Pakisatn People’s Party (PPP) had a long history of sacrifices and it could fight only for the Constitution, but not those who travelled directly to Jeddah from Adiyala Jail. “Nawaz Sharif also remained a convict for nine years in plane hi-jacking case. Then he took the benefit of NRO.”
