Pakistan presses for UNSC resolution ordering ceasefire in Gaza as death toll mounts -
UNITED NATIONS, Jul, 25 (APP): Amid mounting death toll in Gaza, two important regional organizations met at the U.N. Thursday to express solidarity with the Palestinians and to work out a strategy to stop the ongoing violence, with Pakistan backing a move for a Security Council resolution to end the hostilities.

UNITED NATIONS, July 24 (APP): Pakistan is ranked at 146 - the same spot as in the previous year—among the 187 countries in UN’s 2013 Human Development Index (HDI)’s annual rankings that is worked out by combining indicators of  life expectancy, educational attainment and income.
