UNSC slams ongoing violence targeting civilians in Syria -
UNITED NATIONS, Nov 1 (APP): “Outraged” by the violence directed against civilians in Syria, including the reported dropping of barrel bombs on a displaced persons camp in the war-torn country’s northern region,  the Security Council Friday evening strongly condemned such acts, and reminded all the parties of their international legal obligations to protect civilians.


UN Security Council condemns Islamic State murder of Iraqi Sunni tribesmen -
UNITED NATIONS, Nov 1 (APP): The UN Security Council has strongly condemned the kidnapping and murder by Islamic State terrorists of scores of Sunni tribesmen whose bodies were found in mass graves in Iraq’s Anbar province, and urged the world to unite in a common effort to defeat the group and stamp out the violence and hatred it espouses.


Sartaj Aziz meets Iranian Foreign Minister Javad Zarif -

WASHINGTON, Oct 31 (APP): The State Department has made a determination approving a possible Foreign Military Sale to Pakistan for GRC43M Cutters and associated equipment, parts, training and logistical support for an estimated cost of $350 million.

الرئيس التركي يؤكد دعم بلاده المتواصل والثابت لباكستان

إسلام آباد: 10 مارس 2010م ـ (واب ـ APP).

أكد عبد الله غل الرئيس التركي دعم بلاده المتواصل والثابت لباكستان، جاء التأكيد من قبل الرئيس عبد الله غل أثناء اجتماعه مع الوفد البرلماني الباكستاني الذي أجرى اللقاء معه بقيادة الدكتورة فهميدة ميرزا رئيسة الجمعية الوطنية الباكستانية التي تزور تركيا حاليا، ووصف الرئيس عبد الله غل الصداقة بين باكستان وتركيا بأنها اتحاد تاريخي، وأضاف بقوله بأن الشعب التركي لن ينسى تضحيات المسلمين من شبه القارة الهندية خلال حرب تركيا للحرية، مشيرا إلى زيارته المقبلة لباكستان في نهاية الشهر الجاري قال بأنه سيرافقه رجال الأعمال التركيين والمستثمرين، وذلك لتوطيد المزيد من العلاقات الاقتصادية والتجارية الثنائية بين البلدين، وأشاد الرئيس التركي بمساعي الحكومة الباكستانية بقيادة الرئيس الباكستاني آصف علي زرداري ورئيس وزرائه يوسف رضا جيلاني لإخراج البلاد من الأزمات الحالية، من جانبها أطلع فهميدة ميرزا رئيسة البرلمان الوطني الباكستانية الرئيس التركي على مساهمة البرلمان الباكستاني في مخاطبة عدة قضايا يواجهها الشعب خلال العامين الماضين، وأضافت بقولها بأن قادة كافة الأحزاب السياسية في باكستان متحدون على القضايا الرئيسية مثل الديمقراطية والحرب على الإرهاب والأمن في المنطقة.
