Nawaz promises construction of port, preferential development of Thatta PDF Print E-mail
THATTA, May 2 (APP): PML-N chief Nawaz Sharif said his government conducted nuclear test, constructed motorway, improved Karachi port, initiated the Gwadrar port and introduced employment for jobless people.He said there is no development in Thatta since he was ousted from the government, this he stated while addressing a large public gathering at Naka ground here on Thursday evening. Ketibundar port will be constructed if his party gets voted to power. He said that his government will steer the country out of the present crisis and chaos. He held the previous government for responsbile for unemployment and other problems being faced by the masses.He added that he will establish a bank to provide easy loans to people so as to improve their living standard and eliminate poverty.
He promised establishment of educational institutions and universities of higher standard.
He charged the previous government for failing in rehabilitation of rain and flood affected people of Thatta.
On the demand of PML-N candidate from NA-237 (Thattta-1) Marvi Memon, announced electrification and Sui gas supply to needy villages of Thatta district.
He announced widening of Thatta to Hyderabad national highway.  He said that Thatta was on the top list of those districts which will be given preference in development.
He appealed to the people to vote for his party candidates and stamp on his election symbol on the Election Day.
Other speakers included PML-N candidate on NA-237 (Thatta-1) Marvi Memon, PML-N candidate on PS-84 Pir Rahamani and PML-N candidates on PS-85 Jam Owais Bijar Khan Jokhio.
He was accompanied by Syed Ghous Ali Shah, Saleem Zia, Zain Ansari, Arbab Ghulam Raheem and large number party leaders and workers.
