PPP respects Judiciary: Kaira PDF Print E-mail
ISLAMABAD, Sep 18 (APP): Minister for Information and Broadcasting Qamar Zaman Kaira said on Tuesday there was no institutional clash and the PPP-led coalition government had always respected the judiciary. Talking to a private TV channel, the minister said from the very first day, the government had the resolve to respect the institutions and avoiding clash among pillars of the states as “we defend our case inside the court not outside.” He added, “We have worked out a way to proceed further in the court on this matter.” He said the government took the position about the letter writing in today’s hearing when the court said it took care of the federation’s reservations and that also respected Asif Ali Zardari being President of the country.
