India beats Pakistan to move in semis of ICC U-19 CWC |

ISLAMABAD, Aug 20 (APP): India beat Pakistan by one wicket in the quarter-final of the ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup at Tony Ireland Stadium, Townsville on Monday. After winning the toss, Pakistan elected to bat where it set a weak target of 136 runs for all out in 45.1 overs. Captain Babar Azam once again played a superb innings of 50 runs including four 4s on 109 balls. Ehsan Adil hit 35 runs on 38 balls including four 6s while Umar Waheed went to the pavilion making 27 runs smashing four 4s on 48 balls. For India, Sandeep Sharma and Ravikant Singh grabbed three wickets each giving 24 and 43 runs, respectively. Kamal Passi, Harmeet Singh and Baba Aparajith shared one wickets each for 19, 20 and 23 runs, respectively. Akshdeep Nath took a wicket without giving a single run.
