New envoy for Parliamentary Assembly of Mediterranean presents credentials to UN chief -
UNITED NATIONS, Aug 3 (APP):  Qazi Shaukat Fareed, a former senior  Pakistani diplomat who also served the United Nations, has presented his credentials as Ambassador and Permanent Observer of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Mediterranean (PAM) to UN Secretary-General Ben Ki-moon at UN Headquarters in New York.

ISLAMABAD, Aug 8 (APP): Governor Punjab Sardar Latif Khosa on Wednesday called on Federal Law Minister Farooq H. Naek at his office and discussed issues of mutual concern and interests. Both the leaders expressed their great desire of full support and cooperation in different areas. Speaking on the occasion, the Law Minister said that clash between the institutions was not in the interest of anybody and therefore this must be avoided at all costs.Furthermore, Law Minister also discussed the proposed amendments in Pakistan Red Crescent Society Act with the Governor.
