UNITED NATIONS, Oct 24 (APP): While the world's 48 most vulnerable nations continue to make in-roads into poverty reduction, a far greater effort is needed if these countries are to eradicate extreme poverty by 2020, according to a new United Nations report.

ISLAMABAD, Aug 4 (APP): Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf visited Golra Shareef shrine here on Saturday night and offered Fateha.The Prime Minister offered prayers for the prosperity, solidarity and security of the country and for happiness of the people.He also laid a wreath at the shrine of Golra Shareef and stayed there for some time to offer special prayers for the progress and prosperity of the country.The Prime Minister was received by Pir Moeenul Haq and his son Mehar Fareed ul Haq of Golra Shareef. He remained with them for some time.The Prime Minister was accompanied by Managing Director of Pakistan Baitul Maal Zamurd Khan.
