Afridi named T20 captain, Misbah retained as Test, ODI captain
KARACHI, Sept 16 (APP): Former skipper Shahid Afridi has been named as the captain of the Pakistan T20 squad while Misbah-ul-Haq was retained as skipper for Test and One Day squad till next year’s ICC World Cup, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) announced on Tuesday.

ISLAMABAD, Aug 1 (APP): Pakistan will take on Argentina with high hopes intheir second Pool A match of the London Olympics 2012 Men’s Field Hockey Tournament at Riverbank Arena, Olympic Sports Park today.This will be a key game for the greenshirts if they want to remainon course in the competition. Pakistan held Spain to 1-1 draw in their openingencounter on Monday, striker Rehan Butt justified his selection with a 46th minute goal that gave Pakistan a ‘good’ start, reported a privatenews channel.Greenshirts had a good and positive start by holding a tough team like Spain. Pakistan’s frontline’s potential was well in evidence against the Spanish side, but the forwards need to show greater finesse in the striking zone to win matches.
