KARACHI, May 21 (APP): Former Chairman of Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Lt. Gen (Retd) Tauqir Zia has demanded ad hoc arrangements in the present set-up of the board. When the incumbent management of the PCB is celebrating the democratic transition a few former, current players and administrators casting doubts on the mechanism adopted by the PCB for the elections held in Islamabad on May 8 three-day before the General Elections in the country.

Sana to lead Pakistan in Ireland and England tour PDF Print E-mail
ISLAMABAD, July 19 (APP): Sana Mir has been named captain while Syeda Nain Fatima Abidi has been made vice-captain for the tour of Ireland and England beginning from August 18 to 30.  Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) women wing on Thursday announced the national women team for the upcoming tour of Ireland and England. Pakistan Team will tour Ireland from August 18 to 30 to participate in a Tri-Nation series including Pakistan, Ireland and Bangladesh where they will play three one days and Twenty- 20s each. 

Then Pakistan Women Team will tour England from August 30 to September 6 and will play seven T20 matches.
Pakistan will play two T20s each against England, Under-19 team and against a local club there. However Pakistan will play the only T20 against West Indies.
The Training Camp of Women Team and reserves will be held from July 20 to August 16 at Southend Club, Karachi.
Besides the captain and the vice-captain the selected players include Bismah Maroof, Javeria Wadood, Nida Rashid, Marina Iqbal, Batool Fatima (wicket- keeper), Qanita Jalil, Asmavia Iqbal, Rabiya Shah, Elizabeth Khan, Sadia Yousaf, Nahida Bibi and Masooma Junaid.
However the players kept in reserve comprise Mariam Hussan Shah, Sumaiya Siddiqui, Kanwal Naz and Javeria Rauf.
