KP plain areas to remain under grip of heat wave in next 2 days |

PESHAWAR, July 2 (APP): The Met Office here on Monday reported that plain areas of Khyber Pakthunkhwa would remain under the grip of heat wave conditions during next 2 days. According to Met Office here, mainly very hot and dry weather is expected in most part of the country. Most parts of the upper and Central Punjab, Plain areas of KPK, Eastern Balochistan would remain under the grip of heat wave conditions during next 2 days in last 24 hours. The weather of Abbottabad will remain partly cloudy while hot and dry weather forecast for Peshawar, Mardan and Parachinar.
A seasonal low lies over northwest Balochistan and adjoining areas with its trough extending to southeast wards.
Mainly very hot and dry weather is expected in most part of the country during next 48 hours. Weather remained very hot and dry in most parts of the country in last 24 hours with no report of rainfall.
Maximum temperatures recorded at Sibi, Rislapur and Turbat 47oC, Lahore, Kohat and Mangla 46oC during last 24 hours and pollen count remained 22 per cubic meter.
