LAHORE,July 02 (APP)- Extremely hot and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country during next 24 hours. According to Met report, monsoon activity is likely to start after 72-hours.Meanwhile,a marked seasonal low lies over north Balochistan and Sunday’s trough of westerly wave across north of Iran continues to persist.
No rain occurred in the country during past 24 hrs upto 0800 hrs Monday.
Meanwhile,River Kabul at Nowshera
was in low flood and under the effect of current heat wave it is likely
to attain medium flood Level during next 24-hours. All the other major
rivers were flowing in their state of normal flow.
Dams position (0600): Tarbela level:- 1399.07 Feet Max. conservation Level: 1550.00 Feet.
Mangla Level: 1116.45 Feet Max Conservation Level:
1242.00 feet.
