Pakistan, Afghanistan strengthening their ties and promoting regional economic cooperation -
UNITED NATIONS, Dec 19 (APP): Afghanistan, under the new leadership, and Pakistan are strengthening their cooperation in a number of fields and boosting regional economic cooperation, a senior Pakistani diplomat has said.

Multan by- election, postal ballot applications till July 4 PDF Print E-mail
ISLAMABAD, June 27 (APP) -  The Election Commission has fixed July 4  as the last date to receive applications for postal ballot papers for By-Elections for National Assembly Constituency NA-151 Multan-IV.
The facility, under the law, has been extended only to the persons in Government service, members of Armed Forces, holders of public offices, their wives, children as are registered voters and ordinarily reside with them provided they are stationed at a place other than the place in which their constituency is situated.Persons detained in prison or held in other custody are also entitled to vote by postal ballot, says a press release issued here today.The last date in this behalf for such polling personnel and police personnel as are posted at a polling station other than one at which they are entitled to cast their vote, has been fixed as  July 9, 2012.
