UN General Assembly adopts Pakistan's resolution reaffirming peoples' self-determination right -
UNITED NATIONS, Dec 18 (APP): The UN General Assembly on Thursday stamped its approval on a Pakistan-sponsored resolution reaffirming that  the universal realization of the right of peoples to self-determination was a fundamental condition for the effective guarantee and observance of human rights.

BADIN, June 27 (APP):- Speaker National Assembly, Dr.Fahmida Mirza has asked Sindh Irrigation and Drainage Authority (SIDA) and Sindh Irrigation Department to take immediate practical steps to escape the loss of life and property feared to be caused by expected heavy monsoon rains.“ No negligence on this account will be tolerated. Strict legal action will be taken against the officers found responsible for any negligence,” she alarmed.The Speaker was addressing a high level meeting in Darbar Hall in Badin, to review the safety measures taken so far by the concerned departments against the possible losses in Badin district in cases of heavy rains and high flood during the approaching monsoon.
