Khurram appointed as FIFA referee PDF Print E-mail
LAHORE,June 13 (APP)- Pakistan’s Khurram Shahzad has been appointed as the FIFA referee to officiate in the AFC U22 Championship Group D Qualifiers being played from June 16 to 24 at Katmandu, Nepal. “ Asian Football Confederation (AFC’s) referees committee has selected and approved Khurram as Elite Referee of the final list of AFC Elite Referees for 2012. “ Referees in receipt of a FIFA badge are entitled to officiate at FIFA and AFC fixtures, both at club and international level. I hope that Khurram will keep his fitness level and refereeing for the rest of the year”,said President, PFF, Faisal Saleh Hayat here on Wednesday.
