Ambassador Basit highlights impact of peace in Afghanistan for Pakistan PDF Print E-mail
BERLIN, Jun 9 (APP): Pakistan’s Ambassador to Germany Abdul Basit has said that the time has come to accelerate the reconciliation process in Afghanistan to ensure stability and peace in the country following the withdrawal of US and NATO forces in 2014. Addressing a reception hosted by the Embassy of Pakistan in honour of participants of the 2nd Trilateral Summer School organized by Konrad Adenauer Foundation last evening Basit said, “Pakistan will continue extending its all out support to an Afghan-led and Afghan-owned peace process.”
