Ensuring women's access to safe toilets is 'moral' imperative: UN chief -
UNITED NATIONS, Nov 20 (APP):  With one out of three women worldwide lacking access to safe toilets, it is a moral imperative to end open defecation to ensure women and girls are not at risk of assault and rape simply because they lack a sanitation facility, United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon said on World Toilet Day. 


Pakistan making rapid progress towards strengthening democracy and economy: Bokhari -
NEW YORK, Nov 20 (APP): Senate Chairman Syed Nayyer Hussain Bokhari told a gathering of diplomats, parliamentarians and journalists Wednesday night  that democracy was advancing in Pakistan and the country was well on its way to economic revival and prosperity.

WASHINGTON, Nov 20 (APP) : Chief of the Army Staff Gen. Raheel Sharif has categorically stated that the ongoing Zarb-e-Azb operation targets all militants without any discrimination and that it is aimed at defeating the menace of terrorism squarely.
