ISLAMABAD, July 22 (APP): India and Pakistan would not be participating in the September’s Asian Games giving a massive loss to the Games as their presence would have guaranteed massive interest and wide television coverage.

Sufficient amount spent for welfare of mining workers: Asim Hussain PDF Print E-mail
ISLAMABAD, April 30 (APP):- Minister for Petroleum and Natural Resources, Dr Asim Hussain on Monday said that sufficient amount has been spent by the provinces for the welfare of workers employed in mining sector. Replying to a question in the National Assembly during question hour, the minister said that taking measures for welfare of workers employed in mining including exploration of coal, salt, precious stones and other solid minerals is the responsibility of the provincial governments. He added the provincial governments have set up a mines labour welfare   organization for this purpose besides provision of facilities like medical care, establishment of dispensaries, hospitals, free medicine and ambulance service for them.
