Pakistan, China start joint venture of constructing Missile Boats |

ISLAMABAD, Mar 2 (APP): Pakistan and China have embarked on a joint venture for the construction of two missile craft boats in the Chinese port city of Tianjin, says a press release received here Wednesday from China. Under the joint venture signed between Pakistan Navy and China Shipbuilding and Offshore International Company, two Fast Attack boats capable of carrying missiles would be constructed simultaneously in Pakistan and China.
Vice Admiral Tanveer Faiz Ahmed was
the Chief Guest at the keel laying ceremony of the boat being
constructed in China. The second boat would be constructed at Karachi
Shipyard.
The missile boat carriers would be
equipped with latest weapons. Their sensors would be a potent addition
to the fleet of Pakistan Navy.
