ISLAMABAD, Dec 14 (APP): The Sino-Pakistan relationship presents a model for friendly relations between two opposing ideological settings and markedly different economic systems during and after the Cold War in bipolar, multi-polar, and uni-polar world. While commenting on decades’ old Sino-Pak diplomatic ties, diplomatic sources said here Tuesday, it was because of this close fraternal understanding that bilateral relations were promoted between the two countries irrespective of domestic political regime changes and issues even since Pakistan recognised the Peoples Republic of China on January 4, 1950.

ISLAMABAD, Dec. 12 (APP): Long hairy beard, eagle eyes, strong arms,quick feet and a splendid physique is the impression which one gets on first seeing Taekwondo master, Shaukat Fazal.Rightly known as Mr. Pakistani all over the world, Shaukat, now in his mid forties, has given so much devotion to this art that he, his life and work have become one and the same. “I have great passion to uphold country’s flag and I feel proud when people in other countries call me Mr. Pakistani,” he said talking to APP.A proud son of Pakistan soil, Shaukat reached in finals of the World Taekwondo Poomsee Championship, held in Tashkent, Uzbekistan a couple of months ago. Among 64 countries, he was successfully placed at World No.8 by the World Taekwondo Federation. “I was very enthusiastic to win that competition but unluckily I could not make,” he said.

ISLAMABAD, December 12 (APP): The word ‘cyber crime’ may sound for many as something related to a sophisticated Hollywood movie hitting the tinsel town but the stark reality is that the IT prone diction frequently raises eyebrows even among lawyers community, computer users, experts and especially among countrymen where a majority is not familiar with the relevant laws.The number of internet users has grown very rapidly worldwide and in Pakistan for the last few decades and according to estimates 80 per cent information is now digital and there are more than 100 billion pages on the web. This vast invasion creates potent threats and vulnerabilities to cyber crimes.In our country, cyber crimes laws are kept ambiguous which require to be made familiar at all levels.

LAHORE, Dec 6 (APP): Railway is not only the most common and economical means of transport but also for transportation of goods in several countries of the world.Pakistan Railways is also one of the most common transport system in Pakistan but unfortunately, it is facing not only financial crunch but also a victim of mismanagement.In the subcontinent, history of the railway of India and Pakistan started at the same time. After partition Pakistan Railways has been facing decline but Indian Railways has improved its services.Pakistan Railways is working under a ministry and its network consists of 7,791 km-long track and 559 stations. In 1947, it was called Northwestern Railways and had 11,088 km-long route, out of which 3043 km was transferred to India, leaving 8,045 km to Pakistan. However, another 254km route was reduced later. In 1961, it was named as Pakistan Western Railway and in 1974 Pakistan Railways.
