Pakistan making significant efforts to eliminate human trafficking: Report -
WASHINGTON, July 27 (APP) - Pakistan's government is making significant efforts to eliminate trafficking in persons, noted a latest report released by the U.S. Department on Monday, but pointed out areas where more efforts needed to be made against the problem.

NEW YORK, July 26 (APP): A leading US newspaper has called for the repeal of India's notorious Armed Forces Special Powers Act, or Afspa,  which authorizes Indian armed forces to commit "repeated, documented"  human rights abuses against civilians in designated "disturbed areas", including the occupied state of Kashmir.

UNITED NATIONS, July 24 (APP): Deeply concerned by escalating violence in southern Libya, the United Nations Support Mission in the crisis-torn country Friday called for an immediate ceasefire amid fighting that has claimed dozens of lives in recent weeks.
