ISLAMABAD, May 22 (APP): Severe Heat wave conditions would continue to prevail most parts of the country during two to three days including South and central Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Sind and Balochistan. Met office reported here on Wednesday, seasonal low lies over Balochistan and central parts of the country.

ISLAMABAD, May 18 (APP): Metereological Department has predicted mainly hot and dry weather in most parts of the country during next 12 hours. “Severe heat wave conditions will prevail in plain areas of Punjab, upper and central Sindh, Balochistan and southern Khyber Pakhtunkhawa”, it added. Temperature of some major cities recorded this morning: Islamabad and Murree 20 degree centigrade, Lahore 27, Karachi 28t, Peshawar 22, Quetta 16, Gilgit 11 and Muzaffarabad 21 degree centigrade.

ISLAMABAD, May 17 (APP): A heat wave will engulf most parts of the country from next week including plain ares of Punjab, Balochistan and Sindh. An official of Meteorological department told APP here on Friday that the current temperature fall under normal category as the mercury is raised to three degree from average temperature of summer. “When the temperature increases five or more degree from normal range it is considered to be hit by heat wave and from next week it is expected that the mercury would cross the normal limit”, he informed.

May 8 (APP): Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) on Wednesday
forecast hot and dry weather for most parts of the country during the
next 24 hours. However
there are chances of dust-thunderstorm and rain at the isolated places
of Malakand, Hazara, Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan during the next 24
hours.
