BEIJING, Dec 14 (APP): China and Pakistan could exceed their 2015 bilateral trade volume target of 15 billion US dollars with the soaring growth in bilateral trade, Pakistan’s Ambassador to China, Masood Khan, has said in an interivew.Total trade in the first nine months this year reached 6.2 billion US dollars, which was a 29-percent rise from the same period last year, Khan said. If such growth continued, then over the next five years, trade could be as high as 18 billion US dollars a year, Khan said in an interview with Xinhua news agency ahead of Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao’s 3-day official visit to Pakistan starting from December 17.

ISLAMABAD, Dec 13 (APP): Pakistan is expected to ink a series of agreements as Premier Wen Jiabao of China visits Pakistan aimed at boosting cooperation in energy and agriculture sectors and further strengthen strategic cooperation. During the three-day official visit to visit Premier Wen will hold meetings with President Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani and other Pakistani leaders.

BEIJING, DEC 13 (APP): Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao 3-day official visit to Pakistan starting on Friday “will inject new vigour and vitality in Pakistan, China friendship”, said Assistant Foreign Minister Hu Zhengyue here Monday. The Premier will exchange views with Pakistani leadership on cooperation in various areas including energy, agriculture and participation in the post flood reconstruction, he said.
