KARACHI, May 23 (APP): President, Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Muhammad Haroon Agar has welcomed the renewed pledge by Prime Minister of People’s Republic of China, Li Keqiang and President Asif Ali Zardari to deepen the strategic and friendship ties, and multi-dimensional cooperation irrespective of global situation. In a statement here on Thursday, he appreciated Pak-China Governments for signing 12 agreements/MoUs focusing on making economic and trade relations stronger and building an economic corridor.

ISLAMABAD, May 23 (APP): Lord Mayor of Manchester Naeem Ul Hassan JP called on Pakistan High Commissioner to UK, Wajid Shamsul Hasan in his office on Thursday and discussed a wide range of issues including the Pakistani Diaspora in Manchester. ISLAMABAD, May 23 (APP): USAID through its Teacher Education Project, organized a one-day ‘National Interchange on Teacher Education Reforms and their Implications’ at a local hotel here on Thursday. The national level gathering was attended by eminent scholars, professors and policymakers from the National Accreditation Council for Teacher Education (NACTE), Pakistan, Fatima Jinnah Women University, Agha Khan University, Allama Iqbal Open University and University of Sindh among others. Dr. Muhammad Memon, Agha Khan University- Institute for Educational Development (AKU-IED) stressed upon the need to use pedagogy for engaging students in their learning required for meaningful education.
