Balochistan Budget

QUETTA June 21 (APP) Balochistan government has allocated Rs. 29.127 billion under its Public Sector Development Programme (PDSP) for financial year 2011-12. Speaking during the provincial assembly session with Speaker Mir Aslam Bhutani in chair here on Tuesday, provincial Finance minister Mir Asim Kurd Galu said the province would also receive Rs. 2.225 and Rs. 0.016 million under Foreign Project Assistance and Cash Assistance (Japanese Grants) respectively during the next financial year.

QUETTA June 21 (APP) Balochistan government has allocated Rs. 19.256 billion for education sector in its annual budget for fiscal year 2011-12. Speaking during the provincial assembly session with Speaker Mir Aslam Bhutani in chair here Tuesday, provincial Finance minister Mir Asim Galu said the government has increased its education sector budget in the next financial year by 11 percent compared to the current financial year wherein Rs. 17.328 billion had been allocated for this sector.

QUETTA June 21 (APP)- The Balochistan cabinet Tuesday approved the provincial budget for fiscal year 2011-12. The cabinet meeting held here at CM secretariat to discuss the salient features of the fourth budget of the PPP-led coalition government for financial year 2011-12. Chief Minister Nawab Mohammad Aslam Raisani chaired the meeting. After the deliberations and briefing on the budget, the chief minister Balochistan, provincial finance minister Mir Asim Kurd Gailu and chief secretary Ahmed Bakhsh Lehri signed the budget document.

ISLAMABAD, Jun 15 (APP): The Balochistan budget for the year 2011-12 with an expected outlay of around Rs.160 billion would be announced on June 21.Chief Secretary Balochistan Ahmad Bakhsh Lehri,told APP that provincial Finance Minister Mir Asim Kurd would present the budget in the Balochistan Assembly.He said the areas of priority in the upcoming budget would include agriculture, livestock, communication, health, education, clean drinking water projects and other mega projects aiming at to improve the living conditions of the people of the province.
