Pakistanís Rizwan drives Shama club to Bashir Bilour Shaheed Cricket final
PESHAWAR, Apr 20 (APP): Pakistan’s wicket-keeper batsman Muhammad Rizwan steered Shama club to final with his fashion knock of 90 runs including 11 boundaries and three sixes against Sarhad Gymkhana in the second semi-final of the ongoing Bashir Bilour Shaheed Memorial Cricket Tournament being played at Gymkhana ground on Sunday.

ISLAMABAD April 18 (APP): The Senate on Friday referred  Pakistan Protection of Pakistan Bill-2014 to its standing committee on Law an Justice for further perusal and deliberations. The bill was moved by the Minister for Science and Technology Zahid Hamid. Senator Raza Rabbani opposing the bill said it is against the basic human rights and constitution of the country. He asked the government to review the bill and table in the Senate after addressing reservations of the opposition parties. He said that bill should be drafted according to constitution and law of the land. Minister for Science and Technology Zahid Hamid informed the House that modification had been made in the bill. He said the government will welcome any suggestions in bill from the opposition members.

ISLAMABAD, April 16 (APP): The Senate was informed Wednesday that overall debt to GDP ratio in the country presently stands at 59.1% and the government will approach the parliament if it will be going to exceed the benchmark of 60%. Minister of State for Interior, Baleeghur Rehman told the House during Question Hour on behalf of the Finance Minister that internal and external debt had decreased over the period and the figure given in the House was of February and correct.
