The conference encompasses trilateral meetings between political and military leadership of Pakistan, Afghanistan and Turkey.The Army Chief will hold discussions with senior military leaders of Turkey and Afghanistan. Afghan refugees’ repatriation remained low in 2011: UNHCR PDF Print E-mail
ISLAMABAD, Oct 31 (APP): The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) has said that the repatriation of Afghan refugees from Pakistan is 59 per cent low this year as compared to last year.According to United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees in Pakistan Neil Wright, the number of Afghan refugees returning home with the help of UNHCR had dropped substantially this year as some 60,000 repatriated form overseas in the first 10 months against over 100,000 during the same period in 2010, a private news channel reported.
